2 2022 22 June A seminar on "Youth unrest and Education” A seminar on "Youth Unrest and Education" was organized by the students of education department. Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Kalyan Das, HOD, dept. of education. Dr. Ajit Konwar , Assistant professor, dept. of English was the resource person of the seminar. Total 50 students were present their papers.
3 2022 12 December To felicitate Alumni, Miss Priya Mundra for securing 3rd position (AIR) in NET JRF in June, 2022. A alumni felicitate programme was organized by the Dept. of education, Morigaon college. Miss Priya Mudra a alumni of the department cleared JRF and securing 3 position (AIR) was felicitated by the department. 4 2022 11 November A national education day was observed by the department of education in collaboration with IQAC of M A national education day was observed by the department of education in collaboration with IQAC of Morigaon College. 5 2023 9 March A Cleanliness Drive as part of Extension Activity On march 9, 2023, the department of education Morigaon college organised Cleanliness Drive at Morigaon-Nagaon road at Gasbari. The main objectives of the activity was to create awareness among the students and in the society regarding cleanliness and its importance. In this programme all the students of BA 2nd , 4th and 6th semester had participated actively through out the programme. 6 2023 11 March Need of women's Education for social Harmony and Rural Development The programme is apart of extension activity of the department of education, morigaon college. The main aim of the programme was to reaching out to the community to render knowledge and experience with the people of the community. 7 2023 27 March Socio-Economic Survey at Doloichuba Village, Morigaon, Assam A survey on socio-economic status of people at Doloichuba Village was conducted by the dept. of education, morigaon college on 27 March, 2023. The survey was lead by Dr. Kalyan Das and Mr. Augusting Terang faculty members of education department. Total 100 students of the department were conducted the socio-economic survey to know the real socio-economic status of the people of Doloichuba gaon of Morigaon district.

9 2023 26-04-2023 Workshop on Mental Health and Stress Mangement Department of Education, Morigaon College has organized a one day workshop on Mental Health and Stress Management for the benefit of the students.
